I'll take this challenge, But It's a list of what I did since the middle of August. I dragged home an '83 GMC that had been in a shed perhaps since around 1988. Wisconsin Truck, so there are a few little holes but nothing major. 71,000 miles on the clock. I'm 65, retired just a few months earlier and this was a lot of work for one old guy ! While there is more to do, I love driving it. Wherever I go, someone comments or asks if it is for sale. Can't sell it... I'm over budget ! Image below is how she looks currently.

Rough Cleanout, Remove Driveshaft, Exhaust and Transmission, Remove Rear Bumper, Remove Truck Bed / Fuel Fillers, Remove Fuel Tanks, New Brake Lines Front/Rear, New Hard and Soft Fuel Lines to Valve for Dual Tanks, Complete Frame Cleanup/Paint, Bed Underside Cleanup/Paint, New Fuel Tanks Installed, 700r4 Replaced, Bed Reinstalled, Fuel Filler Tubes and Hoses Painted and Reinstalled, New Exhaust, Front/ Rear Brakes Rebuilt, Steel Wheels Painted, Hub Caps Polished, Cooling System Flushed, Radiator Repaired, Vacuum Lines Replaced, Dash Lights Replaced, Gutted Interior for Cleanup, Complete Cleaning, Heater Ducts Cleaned, Seat Shampooed, Interior Replaced, New Brake Pedal Pad, Register Truck, Drill/Tap Broken Seat Belt Bolts, Re-glued Rear View Mirror bracket, Fix High Beam Light Connections, Replaced all Bad Markers/ Tail/ Stop/ Interior Bulbs, Paint/Reinstall Rear Bumper, New Front/Rear Shocks, New Parking Brake Cables, Replace 700r4 Tailshaft Bushing and Seal, Oil Filter/Change, ATF/Filter Change, Front Inner Fenders Replaced, Make Cab Corner 6x9 Speaker Panels, Install Fosi Stereo in Dash Pocket, Install New Heater Hoses, Relocate Seat Slider Brackets (1.5” more Rear Travel), Cut /Remove 1.5” Foam - (Contour Seat Backrest), Purchase/Polish OE Bullet Aluminum Wheels, Mount new Tires, Replace Door Strikes, Knockdown/Touchup Exterior Body Rust, A First Pass on Body Polish/Cleanup.
