Got the rear glass installed and the drivers door handle and sport mirror installed. I’ve been chipping away at getting all the trim and everything back installed. Got the windshield in the other day. I went with a new one with the antenna in the glass.

Finished removing the last of the aftermarket stereo equipment and restored the kick panels to something at least closer to stock.

When I got the Blazer it had what I’m sure is a nice high-end stereo system installed. There were 3 big, heavy speaker boxes in the back, speakers in the kick panels and a 1600 watt Kenwood amp mounted under the drivers seat fed by a power cable that looks like it could supply a small city. As a result the back seat was inaccessible and the kick panel speakers were always getting kicked. When I go after the dash pad I will install a new dash speaker and hook that to a simple AM/FM radio.

So, is the kick panel speaker setup for sale?

My truck died on me today while I was hauling leavers for my neighbor. Wouldn’t start up and I had gas pouring down the carburetor from a leak in a gasket. So I did what I thought was best and pulled the carb for a rebuild. I think I’m in over my head…
Oh well… I just hope it’s going back together correctly
