What new tool did I improvise lately! Needed to pressure test the cooling system on the D.D. today, went and got my pressure tester kit. It's an old stant model. All my adapters were too big or too small. S0N 0F 4 B!TCH !!!! so thinking I'm going to have to either pass on the pressure test or drive a minimum of an hour to somewhere that might have the right pressure cap. GRRRR. Walking down the driveway I saw a bicycle inner tube. Ding,Ding,Ding I grabbed a foot pump, blew it up,found the hole, cut a good section out with the valve stem intact and used that section of inner tube as my upper radiator hose, clamped it tight, blew it up with the foot pump. Oh Yeah!!!!

I have wanted one for a while now.
HF sent out a coupon for 25% off and that made the unit $263.
I still have some trust issues with larger purchases there on the house brand stuff, so I opted for the $69 1 year warranty.
That brought me up to $332 out the door, still better than paying full price.

Now to get the stuff in the garage arranged for simple use as the air compressor is currently not accessible.

Did you get a scare sticker too?

If they made them into belt buckles I bet they could sell a bunch.

Ok... I my defense, I was left unsupervised. I went to the saw shop to get Stilh gas for my Trimmer, and Blower. They twisted my arm, and I got a edger head, and the hand held chain saw...

We have tried two of those at the shop. The first one lasted a day. The second one got a few uses out of it before it quit. Maybe you will have better luck.

Good to know.
And also why I bought the warranty.
I will hopefully get to use it this weekend to see how it works.
I figured if it works through the warranty period, it should be ok.
We shall see and I will report back.

bolt sizer....where from? Cheap lol?
It popped up on a YouTube video. It wasn't real cheap, but cheaper than the one I have been looking at. Seems to be good quality. I want to say it came from vrgs or something like that. 60 bucks.

I'm putting explorer rear discs on the 9" so I hillbilly engineered a drill fixture. Bought a cheapo bolt pattern template, a steel spacer and a set of HF transfer punches. The rotors register on the center hub so it doesnt have to be perfect.
