I am having the same issue on my 86 k10 with A 14bolt full floater. If you can send me some pics of what you came up with i would greatly appreciate it. especially where you connected to the existing cables on the driver's side.

I was there and looked at them. I wish I took pics of the mounting bracket. i had it in my hand. it's extremely heavy c&c machined aluminum brackets fully welded & powder coated. they mount to the cab support channels with i think 2 stainless steel bolts & nutserts and 1 in the inner rocker if i...

    Davis Off Road, crossover steering???

I looked at ORD that price doesn't include the steering box & some extras and they don't provide a pan hard Bar. And i don't think their stuff is powder coated. when I priced it all out it was very close.

    Summit Brand Headers???

I hung the headman headers yesterday they fit well. i had to make a small dent the collector on the passenger side where the lower bolt sticks threw the spring & shackle. if i had the stock shackles it would have cleared. But The ORD heavy duty shackles w/grease fittings take up much more space...

Frost bite radiator & electric fan???

The trucks in the restoration shop in pieces not much to take pictures of right now When you lift the body the core support goes up but the engine stays the same height. then the fan sits lower and will hit the bottom shroud. So the bottom 1/2 of the shroud has to be removed.

Frost bite radiator & electric fan???

I've read this on other forums. Again, it only gets hot after sitting at idle or at a crawl in traffic. i installed a single electric fan out of a junk yard years ago & put it on a toggle. it cools it quickly. Since the truck is getting fully restored i was looking for something that looks nice...

    Summit Brand Headers???

Thank you for the info The gaskets that came with the headers are cardboard with thin aluminum in the center. not liking them. I think I'll go to the Autopart's store & pick up a good set. the bolts that came with it look good but nothing special.
