    Nice weather this weekend so I thought I'd clean it up. Washed it buffed and waxed it. Got a steam cleaner for the seats that worked great. It really looks good when it's clean and waxed. I always get compliments but it's keeping it clean that sucks about black.

    Cleaned up hedder gasket surface on the heads. Noticed this plug is missing too. What is that a freeze plug? Need to clean the distributor cap and rotor contacts. May get a whole new one later. The inside looks pretty corroded but ran and sounds good. Clean up the wires and holders too.

    Picked up the motor and transmission yesterday after work. I'll clean it up this weekend and then drop off the truck Monday at the shop to have them installed.

    Went to look at a 350/th350 combo for the 84 yesterday. I'll have it taken to my mechanic Friday for him to put in. Get rid of the 305. He's having it pulled the next two days so I can get it Friday. Said the motor was rebuilt 5k miles ago. Fires up nice and easy. The 305 has been acting up...

    Removed the wire i had on temporarily to keep the throttle cable from slipping off and replaced it with the correct clip. Google said auto zone had them but it lied. Had to get them from Amazon.

    Yup just keep your foot out of it and it will be a 2 barrel. You can here the back barrels open if you mash to hard.
