    Bought this led light switch from HF. Added some magnets and stuck it on the roof since I don't have a dome light. It's plenty bright. Not bad for 4 bucks or so. Like the club? Lol

    The ones on my 82 are huge pos! Plus I only have one on the driver's side and I turn it on with a wall light switch that the po wired up. Lol

    No I wired it in to the fuse box. It comes with a switch to turn off and on. I put it on the kick panel with velcro in case I need to remove it.     edelbrock avs2 650

    I had hard start issues with the edelbrock 1406 so I swapped it out with a quadrajet and then start up is easy. Straight out the box. Just had to adjust electric choke. This is when I pulled it off the old 305 and put it on the 454 because it had a crappy 1406 on it.

    Installed led strip lights under the bed rails. Put a piece of hall inch rubber hose to run wires thru. Turned out pretty good. The only one visible is the one on the front of the bed.     Yesir I made the same mistake buying those. I just needed to chase the threads in the hedder bolt holes to clean them up. Nope! Won't even do that. Trash! Almost broke one about two turns in. Lol

    I don't like the edelbrock carbs. Quadrajet is what gm put on these and that's be best one for the trucks imo. I replaced it with the Quadrajet and it runs great.

    I'd get a quadrajet from nationalcarbureators.com in Florida. I did and you won't be disappointed. It comes ready to slap on right out the box.

    Buffed out the passenger side. Came out pretty good. Still got the back of the cab and roof to do. Then coat it with some wax with the da and should be good for now. Went through 3 wool pads too

    I remember when I had the 454 put it I drove it home with open hedders until I could get it to the muffler shop. It was loud but fun. Lol
