Ok, I'm digging this up as I have an 84 that was originally a TH350 and sometime updated to a 700r4.
It's should have a vacuum switch, low vacuum tcc switch, which when high vacuum is applied, it disengages the tcc. Also there is a brake pedal switch that does the same thing.
I haven't seen the wiring diagram for an 84 yet, but most of the others I have seen, the brake switch and vacuum switch are parallel.
From what I have gather, the low vacuum switch is on the drivers firewall next to the brake booster. But I have heard that the TH350 had the same thing??? I didn't think the TH350 had a lock up converter.
Anyone have ideas or can correct me?
