I see what you're saying. The Switch would be open preventing back feed, and the gear selector uses the neutral safety switch to activate the reverse lights correct?

Why a toggle switch? Unless you're wanting the option to KILL the auxillary back up lighting.
So why not run the Aux Back up lighting power to a relay, then have the OEM back up light activate the relay to send power to the Aux lighting? You can also have the toggle swith inline to the relay for Aux light kill. This way the Toggle switch stays ON all the time, unless the need arises to kill the aux lighting.
Yup, exact same thing.I think he's referring to the same thing I drew up just keeping the auxiliary lights separate from the stock back up lights
The toggle switch it's to use the aux lights as work lights. They'll come on with the reverse lights, flip the switch, and they come on s work lights while in Park.
