wiring problems

so i bought this project truck and im learnin as i go i got all the wireing exsept my windsheild washer/wiper, test light reads that i have power and good ground to both of them but they just wont work ,andi no the washer motor works cuz i cut the wire and hooked it to the battery and it works just fine once i hook it all up it wont ...all fuses are good too. anybody have n e idea?

If a test light indicates power then you must have a ground problem. Wait, did you have the switch on when you tested it?

yes on the washer pump the test light wont go on until u hit the switch for it to turn on
same goes for the wipers i have the ignition on and go thre the deley, low and high,

You either have a bad ground or bad motors.
