Hey guys I have a 1982 k1500 that the wipers won't stop. So I put a new switch and motor in cause the wipers didn't work, now they work great but they don't stop only easy to get them to stop is to un plug the motor. The book i have on the truck doesn't really show how the switch or motor works. I have heard that the switch is ground and the motor should always have power to it? Is that correct so maybe the new switch isn't breaking ground like it should?

possibly OR one of the wires (purple or gray) could be grounding somewhere before they get to the switch.

I'm assuming the wipers start as soon as the key is turned.

Would help to give us a little more info. Delay or no delay module?
