Hello all, While in "paint jail" paint shop lost the complete wiper motor ASSY including linkage from my 1974 C10 !

What fits ? I found one from a 78 4wd Suburban, but wiper motor looks different from the old one....

Appreciate any suggestion !

Regard's

I believe it's 73-76. Rockauto should have it.

I believe thats the same wiper motor GM used on everything in that era. A replacement will be easy to come by.

73-74 Is a different motor apparently - to find anything in Australia will be tuff - seems like I got to do a bit of fabrication / Modification - AGAIN!

The early style wiper motors are rare. You can use the 78 - 84 wiper motor with pump. You need the wiper motor arm and the matching wiper switch. The wiper linkage is the same 73 - 80. You can get the motor and switch for ~ 100USD from Rockauto. The wiper motor arm is hard to find, maybe someone here has one and is willing to ship it to down under. I do the same swap on my 74 C20 and will modify a wiper arm to have the right specs.
You can buy one of these too, depends how deep your pockets are...
