Long time no see, anyhow, I’ve been daily driving my 83 K5 blazer while also somewhat trying to “restore” it. I’ve done everything I can think of but I’m still getting drips of water in the bottom corners of the windshield and around the hvac box. I’ve removed the heater core box side, cowl and re-seam sealed with SEM, and had the windshield replaced. I don’t want to start doing rust repairs on the floors and rockers until I’ve got it dry on the inside. I’ve attached some photos of the windshield frame, I went through hell with safelite getting a new windshield installed. Two youngins came and busted my old on out on a friday evening then denied service so I sat all weekend without a windshield, gave me time to take a wire wheel and paint the frame before the manager came back on Monday to install the new one. If I can ever get this leak stopped I’ll finally be able to start redoing interior.
