Anyone notice that when searching for a new air compressor the search fields should be by CFM instead of electric or gas or by H.P. or price but rather by CFM?
Ive got a old craftsman with a possible rust risk and have been searching for new compressor but am having a heck of a time finding one.
Every air tool I have ever seen in my life has a CFM rating, so the user / buyer knows whether or not their compressor will support the tool.
Just seems like with so much emphasis on CFM ratings, that would be the first thing to pop up when doing a search for a new air compressor.
High H.P. motor, big tank, Gas or electric, color tank size, or brand of compressor mean nothing if the damn thing will not support a tool.
Am I missing something here?
