Why does no one make aluminum replacement body panels.

In my mind, there isn't enough weight savings going to aluminum to support sales unless you are an oem trying to up your CAFE numbers.

I had a friend with an aluminum sandrail and every few seasons it had to come apart and go into an oven and get heat-treated. It was light and fast but too much work.

There was a company that made aluminum core supports for Novas and I was able to get one for my 63 Nova. They discontinued them probably a year later due to low sales. I do plan to buy a carbon fiber hood to shave some weight though.

fair enough. I don't know anything about the stamping process itself. I did it realize that it would be that complex to turn out aluminum parts.

I have 6.0 LS swap. I have done a very professional job looks like it belongs nv4500 tons of torque.
