Where does this hose hook up to?

1987 r10 5.0 with a TBI. Just recently had the header installed and when I got it back from the shop the vaccum hose was not connected to the charcoal canister and I think the cut the plug off for the o2 sensor.

I don’t know. Was it converted to non ac and it wasn’t fully converted if that is even possible maybe someone had a gauge for vac or he unlikely scenario of boost

I believe the vin will indicate a trans but I could be wrong. I just think it did. Beings you have a half ton with a 305 it’s almost a safe bet it would be a 700r4 based on gm would have been trying to squeeze mpg into that rating but I’m also not sure when they started using the 4l60 which I assume was close to the 1990 model year, when fwd transaxles started getting electronic controls. Idk.

Does the truck have cruise control? If it does, it could be the line running to the vacuum break switch on the brake pedal. The switch removes vacuum to the cruise control and shuts it down when you brake.

Maybe its connected to the th400 modulator, and was disconnected from the vacuum source on the inlet manifold?

I never have played with a later squares nothing after 81, but do the heater controls, control vacuum motors/diaphrams for vent/heater outlets, if yes it may well be the control source vacuum line.
