i would think a bumper mounted ball or a weld in kind that is wide enoguh to wrap around the frame rails and still leave the boxed area open since it hangs down a bit aftert you undo it, just have different hardware if the clearance doesnt work.(bolts)

also this is a 96 f150 carrier i found out too

I guess maybe I’ll try hertz, they install hitches. I think that I need to physically try to see if there are any clearance issues. Other than that I might have to ditch the glide out carrier for the standard model.

Hi, still looking for a receiver type hitch that will work with a glide-out spare tire carrier, I would prefer to keep the carrier as it came with the truck. Thanks
