My first?
My first car was a '79 Ford Courier pickup. It had a blown head gasket and about 250k miles on it when my dad and I put a new head gasket on. It was his dad's new and we literally kept passing it down until the wheels fell off at 298k. I bought my first vehicle shortly after that Courier gave up the ghost in my friends driveway. I had gone to her house to help her family clear part of their land, and out of this mountain of brush emerged a '78 F250 Highboy. $400 later and 3 bottles of simple green (to clear 8 years of moss and mold of the windows) it was mine. Learned a lot in that truck, about wrenching and about life. Sure do miss it, even if it was on fire the last I saw of it.
