I am painting my new 17" oem replicas to be ready for this weekend, but I can't decide if I want to stay stock tire size, or go up to 33.
Does anyone have any pics to share of your 16", or 17" wheels with 33s on them?

Thanks,
-Dan

I'd think you'd be disappointed if you didn't go with 33's.

I don’t know, but I certainly don’t want to make a mistake and be stuck with it. This is my pick up with 265/75/16s and they measure out to 31.6, which I think 265/70/17 measure out to 31.8.

I’m not a fan of a tall side wall, but I don’t want the tire size in question to look to think on sidewall with the 17s.

Sorry there isn’t a cab & box on it yet, but these are 295/70-17s.
They measure about 33 1/2” tall, this is with an ORD 4” lift kit.

That is plenty of fender well there, shouldn't have an issue rubbing sheet metal

@Old Guy Bill, thanks for the picture. Those tires look good on there. Maybe the 33s would look better.

Theoretically you're going up about an inch in tire size as well as wheel size. So it should basically look the same just a larger scale. Like I said, I think you'd be disappointed if you didn't go with 33's

What color do you guys think would look better for wheels? The top of the cab, bed rails and grill are all a medium grey. I want the wheels to stand out somehow. Opinions appreciated.

Pirelli Scorpion 285/75R16 (daaaang close to a 33). New springs - lifted it 2" but wasn't a 'lift' kit per se.
