So must be a state-by-state thing then :waytogo:

speaking of Antique tags I'm strongly considering putting them on my truck when inspection comes due in October. That way I don't have to worry about the inspection process again and going through that hassle.

I think here its if it was equipped with it from the factory then it has to be on there and anything considered antique cats arent required.

headers all the way trans doesn't matter they have headers for auto or manual, but I got some that replace manifolds perfectly on ebay for $122 shipped and they are stainless and do not use donut gaskets.

Why would it matter what trans you have anyway?

that would be my guess too is slave cylinder or z bar and linkages. Sometimes they do sell them by trans but most as just fit either. plus the shorties I got I see no problems they exit in the same location as stock manifolds and replace them perfectly.

If you find headers you like, but there's no O2 sensor bung, it's no big deal. You can buy a weld-in bung from someplace like Jeg's for 7 bucks.

As far as cheaper headers go, I like Headman because they have ball flange collectors so there's no gaskets to blow out. Just make sure to use quality bolts and double-nut them so they don't back off.

And stay away from Dynomax. Waste of money, IMHO.

Why should I stay away from dynomax? Everyone I talked to on other forums said there a good brand name.
