The lengths worked good on the 396 in my Chevelle.

I never put socks on top of my boots.

I run a couple sets of those as well, I really like the fit of them.

taylors 8mm if u got headers u will need to run 45 degree boots , i bought the universal and cut to length, makes them look nice in some nice wire looms
