I guess we'll have to call you Blue crOxchet now.

That's what I get for monkeying about with gas engines. I should have stuck with the real ones.

I got the 3/8 version on sale a little while back. It’s no 1/2” Milwaukee but it does most things I need

I love my earthquake xt 1/2" impact. One of the best things I have purchased in a while. Their cordless ratchet is next .

I have had the Earthquake 1/2" air machine for a while now.
It is a great tool.

But, I got to play with our 15 pound Soda Blaster yesterday.
I bought it a while ago and have since reworked some of the cheap and crappy air lines they put on it.
I purchased a few fittings and a short 15 foot air hose to make it better.

I have to say it works quite well now.
But, on light parts and light crud.

It is no sand blaster and doesn't remove heavy crap.
But that is not what it is for.

I have a set of intake manifolds for a VW engine and they were crusty to say something nice about them.
Since I have had this thing, I have been telling @Maxwellvis to keep his eyes peeled for a free barbeque on the side of the road. He found one last month that makes an excellent blasting cabinet.

The powder gets everywhere first of all.
Wear a mask and you are golden.

It did an wonderful job on cleaning most all of the crud off these intakes.

Once we got past the air line garbage, I will give it a good review.
Works like it should.
Although filling it takes a bit of time as it fills through the neck which is about a 1/2" ID hole.

I realized I have not put up photos of what I did to make the unit work better.
Here is a stock photo of how it came in the box.
The hard orange tube on ours popped right out of the filter and would not go back in.
We returned the first one due to that.
The second one that replaced it popped out of the other end.

So instead of returning it and trying my luck a third time, I just took it apart and bought the proper fittings.
If I paid full price, I may have been more upset but I use that 20% off coupon every time I go there.

Here is my updated version that works like a champ.
We used the leftover hose to patch and extend a damaged part of our existing hose.

Now when filling the bottle, we can remove the hose and the part that it connects to that goes into the bottle.
Much nicer than wrestling it all as a whole unit.

Added this yesterday. The guy at the store screwed up...had to know he was, he seen the price tag on it. You don't look a gift horse in the mouth, was $216 out the door.

Snagged a Matco scanner the other day. Also grabbed a little Amazon plasma cutter to cut some steel. And of course my old welding cart was too small now, so I got HFs big daddy cart.
so far I love the cart. still haven’t fired up the plasma.
