My cherry picker ram has leaked since I got it so I used this as an excuse to get an air over hydraulic ram to replace it from harbor freight. Also ordered one of their one drawer tech carts to try out also. I’ll snap some pics when I get them and put it all together.
Well I got my cherry picker jack in and it works to raise and lower the boom unloaded. Sure is nice just holding a button to raise it too! I haven't had an opportunity to lift an engine with it yet because the corvette has it blocked in. In other news... Harbor Freight sent me the side shelf for a tool cart but no cart :(

I emailed asking what the deal was and they have more demand than supply I am told. So I asked why they bothered sending me the shelf that goes on the cart they didn't send... Naturally no good answer but I suppose they thought I already had another cart it would fit... Another return to deal with. Oh well.

Haven't built an auto trans for a long time, so needed some basic tools. Here is the case holder I just bought, can mount it in to an engine stand by the two bolts to two of the stand arms to rotate it for working without being mounted on my bench.

Found it on fleebay, easy to fab yourself, I just have no time so forked out something like $150. Won't fit a 'glide , may fit 4L80E with modification according to seller.

Finally getting some dehumidifiers working. It just sucks that I had to make the investment and learn refrigeration because nobody can manufacture a dehumidifier that works for more than a year.

***If you want to see the exciting results of this saga it's in the dehumidifier thread near the end of page 4:

With cool (and hot) thermal imaging photos.

The best kind!

That's some quality stuff, how did you manage to "find" those, and are the police looking for them?
Lol, no! They aren’t hot. I know a guy who is retiring. Long story, but he has enough money that he’ll never need to touch tools again.

Most of it will be donated, though. Much of it is duplicates or triplicates of stuff I already have.

One handle needs a new rivet.. anyone know how easy that would be to do?

Forget the rivet. Use a SS screw and nylok.
