I “rode shotgun” (in the garage) with my 12 year old son behind the wheel, for a little while today. He asked about what all the gauges are for, how the lighter works :D and if it would be good for drifting  Then we decided where we’re gonna take it fishing for the first time we road trip in it together, in another month or two; Good Lord willing, and the creek don’t rise!
Sounds like he asked all the right questions!!

Skyjacker front springs and ORD bushing/shackle kit going in.
New steering box, not reman. Tanks US Gear Missourah!

Pics to follow...

Need 4:11 ratio front GM 10-bolt differential gears, (not 4:10 kinda-sorta 4:11's).

If anyone has real 4:11, in good working order, let me know?

not square related, but spring busted on garage door. Looks easy enough....with caution though. Will fix tomorrow for $50 compared to $300 locally.

Never done it, thought I'd share.
All done, the 31 total 1/4 turns is perfect for my 7' door. I did mark the leverage bars with a marker and made sure they were all the way in every turn. I stayed off to the side of the spring with goggles when turning.

Hell yeah!
Man, getting a half filled torque converter into a transmission for both “clunks” to seat it in while on a wobbly transmission jack was a little bit of a workout! My jackstands wouldn’t go high enough to slide the transmission out from under the frame rails so that was awkward at best and I don’t wish to do it again anytime soon! :banghead:

Ya doing a trans on the floor on jackstands is awful. It's not much better with a lift an legit trans jack though...

I spent yesterday indirectly working on my Blazer, I replaced the deck on my trailer so I could haul it to a square meet next Saturday.
