Yea, probably shouldn’t be in such a hurry but way too many square parts spilling over in my garage, and house. Landscape projects consumed most of the summer and fall. Seeing the frame off projects by others is a head scratcher for me, still in awe when I see and read them. This Frankenstein is not worthy in my opinion. As always, I’m trying to keep it fun and it’s returned a lot of memories plus I get to hangout with all the cool knowledgeable people here.
There’s a reason I NEVER took on a resto project ever, until the blue truck. It would have been in pieces for years! Couple scuff n squirts and mostly whiskey dent repairs is all I did.
Blue truck was a Covid project that failed to meet the timeline…lol.
First, we figgered the whole quarantine from kids extra curricular activities would last longer. Since they didn’t get to go to school for a year and a half!
Second, the truck was nice enough and totally road ready that we just drove it for the spring and summer rather than working on it. By then kids sports were allowed (but not school in person…..don’t get me started) and I never quit going to work. Stayed home one day as a joke to my boss threatening to work from home.
So once I got started, and then life took another turn I won’t discuss, I literally worked every spare minute on it which was a nice distraction but a responsibility I could have done without at the time.
Otherwise it would look like this still.
