Drivability is noticeably better. I’m very happy with it aside from a a rattle between 38-42 mph. Sounds like a heat shield

Went and picked up a new project today :)

That’s got to be just about the best feeling! Knowing you you made that thing run again!
The only way I know how to get a video on here is uploading it on YouTube and putting the link on you post. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
Thank you sir! I’ve been thinking of doing some YouTube on this old girl anyways.

It’s not perfect but it’s better than what it was… and I had fun!
I will be painting the bolts also, just haven’t got the wire wheel spinning yet.

Lots of good stuff going on here, thanks all for posting.

I ran into another square owner, he’s quite the enthusiast.

I traded a couple spare rallies I had for some parts to start the conversation to get rid of the old a/c stuff (interior air box, etc). Good guy. Nice trucks too. The White one is his cream puff (straight six, all manual everything), the stepside is his daily.

Today I’m driving an hour and a half south to pick up the windshield sheet metal for where mine is rusted at the lower corners (not visible, just under the seal). He’s cutting it all out for me and charging me fifty bucks. He’s another regional squarebody guy. Gonna see what else he has when I’m there today.

Let the meds clear from my brain, and took the truck out for a cruise. Turns out that a bench seat is really comfy to slide in and out of after knee surgery.

The streets were quiet and empty this morning- always wanted to get a picture in front of the old city hall building, it was on my list. I also cruised over to the Chevy dealership to get a picture there too, but I guess business is too good right now, couldn’t even get close to the sign.

After that, I cruised through all the O’Reillys to see if they had the holiday M2 squarebody release, no one had any. After that, I went back to Walmart to see if they had that 1:24 M2 for @TotalyHucked but no dice there either. Oh, well- beautiful morning for a drive and I can’t get over how nice and drivable my truck is nowadays.
I appreciate ya looking! Those pictures are awesome, I wish we had more old architecture around here

Sometimes inspecting cleaning and preventing maintenance is all you need. The cover looks real good and you didn’t paint it red or neon so that’s a plus !
