Come back to the dark side, lol.

Naw, yours looks so cool, I like it the way it is. Or, grab a cheap set off of facespace and switch it out every so often?
I've got some protouring suspension to go on it and that will also mean larger brakes, can't run 15s at that point. If for whatever reason that doesn't end up happening though, I will definitely get a set of rallies to swap out when my mood changes

Yep, still sanding while wearing a mask, safety glasses and ear protection.

I took three 30 lb propane bottles to the gas station. We ran two tanks empty on the past camping trip (they were not full to start).

I also filled the truck with gas (in one tank) and put 5 litres of fuel in the untested tank. I'll run the truck onto the lift and test the repairs I made to the fuel system.

Removed the front sway bar and reinstalled with new pretty red bushings from Summit. Did some underbody cleaning while it was on the lift.

Picked ylup the subwoofer box today after work. It's not hooked up yet but I'm excited. Will hook it up tomorrow and see how it sounds. Two eight inch woofers. It's a t style box is what he's called it. I know it's got long cavities one on each side. Not like your vented boxes. He said it's built like concert speakers. He saw it in a magazine and then applied it to cars. Can't wait to hear it.

I’ve added the new shoes, whole new a/c system, although I can’t get it vacuumed down. ‍♂️ sanded down bed floor and coated it. Next weekend, I’ll seal seems and sand walls to cover and paint grey.

I’m not sure I like my new wheels over old set up.

I had parted a '88 Suburban with a bunch of day one accessories, I used the brush guard on the truck and will get additional pictures of the axle trusses later. It has the same scruffy look as the truck so it matches

I needed to unbolt the front bumper to instal the griil guards and found some of the bracket bolts had welding tacks on them which made it difficult to remove. At some point , somebody took the time to fabricate their own heavy duty bumper brackets. They did a really nice job, well, right up until the holes were in the wrong spot so they used a torch to adjust them. They are twice the weight of the originals. Serious overkill, they were determined these would not fold like the originals.

I am finally getting ready to put it on the road and will be getting the a/c going next, figured just get the right condenser before even trying to convert the system to 134A. It was 114 today, it will need all the help it can get to keep it acceptable driving around.

Now you're just being nitpicky. Looks fine

Had jumper cables rigged on my reese mount winch, swapped them out for welder lead quick connects and much heavier gauge wire.

Also saw this cool video on how to fix the broken loop at the hook on a winch cable...

Even though he said it's strong enough without saddle clamps I put 2 on it anyway.

Installed the auxiliary fuse block and cleaned up the washer pump wiring. Previous owner installed the electric washer pump and used quick taps to wire into the wiper harness. I have seen this for 10 years and finally got sick of it:

Old crap removed:

splices and dressed up wires stuffed into the corrugated loom, can barely be seen now, I like it!

Auxiliary fuse block for new low/high headlight relays and other future needs, installed easily:

There is a clear cover that goes over the fuses. All tested ok using 10-amp fuses for the low and high headlights. I used some red #10 wire, spiral loom and various other supplies I have been hoarding for just this right moment. Also put some sheet rubber behind the fuse block, there is plenty of clearance, but the tips of the terminal screws were exposed. I sourced the power from the firewall junction block where all of you air-conditioned people get your blower power.

Now on to the extra lighting.

Got the sub box hooked up today and it sounds great. Very happy with it. Brings out all ranges of bass. Heavy metal, rock n roll, country and rap.

Got some tweeters I'm gonna put in this weekend too.

Got all my boards squared and cut to roughly the size I wanted for the stake side. Probably going to take a little more off the width still. Nothing fastened on yet just seeing if I like the look
