Ain’t completely a garage queen- took a run to Lowe’s today for supplies for some yard work. Sure is easier to load up into a lowered square than a minivan.
I like that color and think this is a really good looking stance.

You’re doing it right man! Prep is 90% of the job!
Can’t wait to see that thing all shiny
Thank you for the words of confidence. Gonna spray it with bed liner so it won’t be shiny since it will continue to be a working truck. I am thinking a modernized older camper could be nice to put on the back. I have some air bags for the rear as well and some camper support mounts that fit into the bed stakes stuff left over from the 73 my dad owned. That’s a ways down the road though.

Chad @ChuckN ...Seriously is a cool truck with the best stance! You gotta keep the arctic blue.
Absolutely. There’s lots of cool retro stripes out there, but I think I’ll keep it just the way it came from the factory, except the lowering.

Can't tell y'all how much the sub box has impressed me. It wasn't cheap but well worth the money! Still kinda tuning it but it's a huge improvement.

I did not do anything per say, except drive it to the package store at 4:30 for a case of beer. F social media, if you want new friends do what I did. lol I was there so long talking to people about my rig, I put the tailgate down, grabbed a beer, and got after it.
Good times, makes the blood and financial struggle feel like it is worth while.

Ran outta gas due to "empty" line moving on gauge. I did the tank relocation under the bed with a 31 gallon burb tank/sender a few years ago. Probably a wiring issue as the gauge has full sweep. Both sender and tank are 87 'burb.

Anyway, I put 2 gallons in it and ran about 6 miles to work. Gas station within 3 miles from work, it took 27 gallons. At ~12 MPG with my foot, this makes it about 3 gallons short of 31 considering 1/2 gallon in ~36" of ~2" tubing to the filler.

I'll be checking the wiring for the sender/gauge. The capacity is whats bothering me.

That, to me, is why we do what we do, and why we keep doing it.

Had it painted last year. All new rubber seals put on. Filled in gas doors deleted trim holes.

Painted my grill badge, added some weatherstrip on leading edge of door to reinforce door sealing. Gotta do something about the front bumper soon. Truck running perfectly and even the wife drove it the other day.
