Rain every 2 to 3 days with maybe a day of sunshine mixed in between here in VA lately. I have been thinking about putting an auto grade 10×12 tarp over the cab for heavy rain for a hot minute while I figure out coverage. I want a garage and oddly enough I have one, loaded with all our busy life stuff. Also have been wanting to get a Sealskin cover ever since I saw the Yeah Buddy Garage endorsement video on YT. So yesterday I actually dropped the "auto certified" tarp over the cab with my wife's help and today when removing...no wet spots in the door jam and where the cowl would let rain in....otherwise just staring at it I'm my driveway.

Today I picked up and installed my re-ulphostered seat. Not perfect but a darn sight better as there is no big ole burn hole anymore! Also replaced the glove box plastic as the hinge finally gave out.

With this done my list of Squarebody projects is done! Time to drive and enjoy and take to Cruise In’s and maybe a show.

Sealskin covers are good. Had one for my 2000 camaro SS and loved it.

Anxious to see the outcome. I used oe style led bulbs, brighter but not as bright as I hoped.

This is what they look like now. Keep in mind it actually looks brighter in the picture. They're actually really low and needs to be much brighter.

O'Reilly's has gone off their nut, I think. I went in for some fuel line and they wanted over seven bucks a foot. I mean, I know stuff has gone up but HOLY! I walked out and went to NAPA to buy it for two bucks and change.
Also, at Napa, don't buy by the foot. If you can handle 20 or 50 feet, a whole "box" is about the cost of 10 feet. This applies with all hoses, loom, and more.

The problem ive found with that, is they just charge by the foot for the WHOLE box rather than charging the box price lol. Not all places or all the time. Just be careful with those statements.

Most of the way through the rag joint and steering box replacement. Even after heat, PB Blaster soaking and whacking the pitman arm with a BFH, still wouldn’t come off with a regular parts store puller. The arms flexed and then the threads stripped. I had to step up to a more stout Lisle puller and then it came right off. Junk tools suck.

I cleaned it up and drove it across the Mississippi River to the New Roads Car Show. This is one of the nicer shows in this area. The weather was ugly and my parking spot was awful but we still had a nice time.

I will post a few pics of the show in the Events thread and probably in the I Spy a Square Body Thread.

Instead of asking to buy the whole roll of whatever it is that you need, just go in with the part # for it and ask to buy/order it.
