Got it off but, it's so hot I'm gonna take a break till later to put the new one on. I may have to put bigger eye loops on since the bolts on the new one are slightly bigger. The wires aren't as long as the 82 ones. My luck. Lol

You may have already done this I always bench test the new ones to save having to take it off again my buddy's ranchero got 2 bad starters from O'Reilly's in a row

That's where I got mine. Hope I don't have that problem. Lol

Went down to the Veterans benefit car show this morning.

Parked on the street outside and immediately ran into a guy who had a flatbed square with a fresh 496.

That happend to me on a 1999 Tahoe from Orielly's.... really got to me as it was on a very cold day and me and cold do not get along.

Fenders no longer hanging out below the bumper might of mentioned it before I plan to bed liner the lower 1/3 or so of the truck to match the flatbed and bumpers also gives me a chance to fix/hide the door dings no plans to paint the rig cause it's going to get scratches anyway you can see the passenger fender missing some paint from the bushes I plow through when I pull out my back lot
