Fairly new RC lift & 35 Patagonia tires. I'm gonna make good use of the stuff on the ole '76 farm truck. I wish it was a title vehicle but oh well. We "don't look the gift horse in the mouth". Sadly, it won't be the first Square around here that gets cannibalized.

I just picked up this '91 parts truck. My SIL messaged me about 10PM last night with the link (FB MP) & I told him to quickly reply that I'd get it.

Saw the thread about tailgates the other day, decided to make some work for me lol. Kinda dreaded doing it but it really wasn't bad at all.

Fixed my bent up tailgate handle on the 79. Lubed everything really well, now it pulls/opens/closes GREAT. About a 1/4 inch into the pull it unlatches. Doesn't touch sheetmetal anymore.

It was all crooked and bent up and out, but now it's nice and straight.

But now Ive got a floppy handle at rest. I know my pins are a little wore out, anybody ever mounted some kind of return spring or something?

Adjusted the idle rpm so the alternator would charge properly with a/c on, fixed shift indicator with some silicone spray, fixed stuck closed dash vent and torn cloth duct, and finally replaced fender trim. The trim was a pain and I hope to never do it again. Oh and took her for a maiden voyage to HD with the wife :). Tomorrow driving to work!

I Dig it  gonna need some more rubber now:driver:
Yeah, didn't actually think she wasn't gonna go up as much, those are 31's on her. Just a rough country lift, springs and shocks, etc, that 56 inch rear spring made a difference. 35's I suppose are coming, just 3.73 rear
