Yessir, I've been wanting to sell them for quite a while. They're just sitting in the back of my parts truck now. They're undamaged and complete, and comes with all the hardware.

Put a quick coat of wax on my hood. Trying to keep the patina as long as I can before I start getting surface rust. I want to paint the truck but it’s too damn expensive. I’m going to have to do it myself but time is an issue also. I do like the patina though.

Even though it is now hotter than 2 fat fish flapping in a frying pan, I let my favorite-ex-brother-in-law talk me into attending another car show. He said it was important, it was a benefit for a local guy...

I wasn't happy and to add insult to injury, they parked a second row in FRONT of us! I was parked behind that little S-15 GMC. On the plus side that blue Square Chevy was a super nice fellow and his truck had a well done LS Swap so I made a new friend.

By this time it was hotter than 2 horny hippos humping in Hawaii.

There was some shade but they also had a Poker Run and there were a bunch of Harleys staging for the start of that and of course they were all under that shade tree.

But you know sometimes, well sometimes things just work out. Those bikes all took off like a herd of turtles and suddenly there was prime parking! I got the Trans Am moved in, my friend got his '67 Camaro in and I even had time to get the Beige Unit backed in before anyone cut us off. @Ron Sebastian I did bring my EZ-Up Canopy but a good Live Oak is better and less trouble.

My brother-in-law was able to drink his beers in the shade, you can see he is happy in this pic. My Truck always has an ice chest along with EVERYTHING else he might need. I had one very serious offer to buy The Truck. I truly have no idea what it would take to make me consider that right now.

Looking shiny! Not too many that the original paint stuck that long even.

Well, I knew better..... but. I was reinstalling the trim in the drivers side kick panel and the e brake was in the way. I knew I should take the brake out, or get a stubby screw driver. I could not resist the urge. So I depressed the e brake tightened the screw, pulled the release handle, and you guessed it. The pedal came back but the brakes are tight. ARGGGGG I guess a rear brake job is on my list for next weekend. Oh well.

Starting to get hot here in Oregon finally, so I figured I should see why the AC isn’t working in either car again this year. Did the Honda commuter first and it had a leaking high side port valve, so it was just about 1 can low on R134. For some
reason on a full charge I only get about 55 degrees out of the vent, but it’s still way better than nothing.

After that I got to looking at the square. It was having an issue with the fan not blowing right and also the compressor not engaging. I fiddled around with the electrical and blower motor for a bit and finally got it to work right… not sure what combination of jiggling, disconnecting, testing, and reconnecting wires and components did it, but it blows now.

Then I checked the high pressure port and sure enough, it was leaking also. So I hooked up my gauges and saw I still had plenty of pressure in there so the clutch should have still been engaging. I had a replacement valve, so I drained the system and replaced the valve before putting more 134 in it. Compressor still wasn’t engaging so I jumped the pressure switch and the compressor immediately engaged and starting working right. Put three 12oz cans in before the pressures looked right and it was reading 40 degrees at the vents! Took it down to oreillys with the switch still jumpered and bought a new switch for $30. They sell one set up for the R134 pressures. It’s a Murray PN: 36674.

Once I knew I had some AC for driving around next week, I got back to assembling the 454 and rebuilding the 4L80. New rims are coming in on Tuesday also and I’ll be getting some new Falken Wildpeak AT3’s on there as well. Should be a great driving truck in the next few weeks!

Do you have something heavy in the bed, or are you running a Carolina squat?
Unfortunately she sits down a little in the rear. I HATE it! I will be fixing that when funds become available. It had a pieced together "lift" when I got it so I ordered a set of softride 2.5 inch lift springs from Skyjacker. Unfortunately they lifted it about 3.25 inches over stock which was what it had when I started. At least it rides better. I will get the rear lifted or else install a winch on the front to drop the nose. Something WILL change.
