Last night @Maxwellvis removed the stock steering wheel and installed a Grant steering wheel that I pulled from the swapmeet for a massive $5 a couple years ago.

Now it is easier to get into the truck as my "widebody" no longer hits the steering wheel upon entry.

They are such a ****** pain to change.
The squares arent incredibly bad, but still ******. I think the worst heater core to change was in my s10 blazer... that involved taking thr whole damn dash apart
The one in my s10 wasnt too too bad, some cussing and it got changed.

It woulda been a lot less **** if it wasn’t an AC truck and if it wasn’t an 87. They got the ECM tucked right above the heater box and it was a pain trying to ease it past the computer

Yep, my current suburban is an 89, previous one was a 90, both AC trucks
I had to do the heater core on both of those.

Boooooo!

I know your in my neck of the woods, can I ask where you got it done that only a $100 more than a DYI kit. I want to get my new bed done like yours but also the underside before it's permanently attached to the frame.

disregard, I didn't follow the post far enough you answered it already.

Haha, those were in the floorboard of the s10 when we were offroading, the wife likes yuengling
I picked up 3 cases on my way back from Florida. I like it and there's no way I can pass on supporting the oldest brewery and the largest American owned brewery. I may reevaluate if they sell out some day. I've been hauling that stuff across state lines for a while but there is no "Northbound and Down" song to play when I do it.

Cranked mine up and drove it a few miles the other day...usually do it a couple times a week to keep everything moving. I won’t be doing anything to it until spring when it starts warming up. Needs a better muffler system and dashpad for right now.

visor like vanity visor or visor like cab visor?

wow....been a while since I've been on. Cab visor...and it's broke again. I'll end up running a ground wire through the hole....tired of messing with it.
