That's interesting, mine has no lift and looks similar in height to yours. I was thinking of going with a 4" lift and putting uncut fenders on but now I'm concerned. I have been in some decent off-roading up in the cascades and I've only ever rubbed on the outer fender a bit.

Maybe I should go to a 6"

4" should be plenty. My truck has about 2-3" at most. And I have 33x12.50x15 and the previous owner told me he had 35s at one point on it. And they were fine. Do I believe him, yea. Have I seen it, no. I only run 33s. A k10 can I have been told run 33s stock, I think turned just right they may run. But I would think with a 4" you. An clear 35s. I don't have anything trimmed on mine either. But I know someone here had this combo that can tell you.

Drove it the 50 mile round trip to work.

Changed the inline fuel filter before the fuel pump. When I got it off I noticed the cap on the filter element that seals off the end was loose in the filter. It was still just sitting on there on the filter while it was on and it was downhill to the outlet. So I don't think any or much trash was getting sucked through it. I also still run the small carb filter. But when I cut it open the cap just fell out. It was all rusty inside the cap. I guess moisture in there rusted it out and the glue couldn't hold the rust.

Complete a/c install. Sanden 508, custom coldhose.com hoses, new evap, condenser, and drier. Went with a white tube, and wishing I would’ve went with a blue. Not sure how she’ll do on the road, but at idle she brought 45 on the low setting, 60 on the high setting. Ambient temp in the garage was 98 degrees.

Must have wrestled with that for about 30 seconds...



The PO was kind enough to leave me a spare bulb in the ashtray!

While smashing nuts waiting for the operators to snatch a load off the deck I went look on Amazon and picked up a set of 1541h axles. Should help out with the little 10 bolt when i do my gear and carrier swap as soon as I get my feet dry in ole South La.

I was heating up my old rods to put on new pistons/pins....I ended up not being on center with this one. Is this going to cause an issue? If so, how do I get it off without damaging new parts?

Got some rubber coated 1/2" tubing fasteners to hold oil gauge tubing to fender well and neg batt cable to frame.

I used these self tapping roof screws that have a rubber washer under the metal one from home depot.

I just hung a new gas tank and sending unit....after laying under the truck wrestling the tank in place my neck and shoulders are too tired to go back and take pics right now.
Next is fuel line and return lines to the front.

I'd be worried about it, most definitely. It needs pressed into place with a dedicated jig.
