Was the wall hidden , and I am assuming all OK other than the tie rod adjuster ?

Yeah, hard pack snow was plowed against it, wheel climbed up and over before she knew what was going on. Back side had no snow against it so could not just back on out, frame high centered on the wall, front wheels about two feet from touching solid ground. LOL

Put a lil heat to it and slightly over bend it

If I can't fix it right today I will try that just to finish plowing out this storm, but it stretched the pin hole out real bad, so I doubt if it will last long. I am out of acetylene right now, or I would have tried that yesterday.

In this line of work I'm in.... If you want to properly form say.... A 90° bend, you have to slightly overbend it up to 2-5° sometimes to get it correct

I understand that. If I can get it close to straight it will work. The plow mount is pretty loose, I was lacking less than 1/4" of getting it hooked back up so I could finish the job.

Did nothing but did notice this is the ONLY truck ive ever had that does not wear front tires. These have been on about 6 months now and are daily driven. Theres something to be said about a 40 year old truck.

I hooked the ashtray spring back up so it stops grinding in between the housing and the tray, and tightened up the glove box hinge so it closes and lines up with the latch correctly.


Small things, but makes it nicer inside.

Nice! All the small fixes make a big improvement..it’s great to to get everything sorted

Nothing again yesterday. Well pump electronic box screwed up. Parts on order.

So I guess I'll work on the truck today, once it gets over 50F.

Out of curiosity, I stuck my hand under the carpet and she was a little wet under there. Giggity Pulled it all up and Sound Deadened and closed cell foamed it. Found the water leak in the cowling where the old seam sealer had shrunk and cracked. Put new seam sealer down and also replaced the kick panel vent A/C version. Got the interior back inside today

Leak from I believe the adapter. Pulled some stuff and tightened some very loose bolts. If that dont fix it I guess the transfer case is coming out.

Took some pics of my gas tank leak. I'm smelling fuel all the time when outside of the truck. Stuck my phone up there and snapped a few. Seems like all the lines are leaking. I ordered my 40gal tank and everything to go with it. I'm going to use my existing sending unit for now until I get ready to drop efi on.
