After replacing the clutch a couple of weeks ago, I replaced the slave and master today. Bleeding was a challenge. Bought a mityvac, no joy. Finally pulled the whole system out and bled it on the bench. Working fine now.

On a side note, the hydro clutch was swapped in sometime in the past. I ended up making a stop bolt for the pedal as the clutch master was bottomed out with 3 1\4" still left between the pedal arm and the flrewall. The pushed for the master was starting to bend, so I made a stop for it to stop it from overtravelling.

Pulled the left door and fender off to start replacing front cab mount, floor pan and rocker.
Right side is done last winter, glad I did that one first- now I know what not to do!

Parked next to her today at work. (waiting for paint job) I am trying to source some GM metal prior to paint. Our body shop is busy so no rush. Anyone know good place for body parts near Atlanta? Heard about a yard in Alabama, anyone confirm?

Finally got around to painting my new tie rods, got one side set in but not fully installed yet. I'm really liking the gold and black.

The whole passenger side is now tacked in on the 75 K5. Next is to cut the inner wheel arches out, weld the outers fully, planish, dress, weld new inners in.

There's a big yard on the South side of 441 just East of I-85. Don't recall their name.

put more tire pressure in the drivers rear tire driving to work. Have checked for leaks with no luck at all. Looks low before I leave the driveway, looks fine when i get to work 10 miles down the interstate.

Had a tire do that on one of my vehicles. It turned out to be residual rubber from a previous tire change not allowing the bead to seal properly. They cleaned the rim and the tire holds air like a steel tank now.

Trying to remove the worn out tint. What a pain in the crapper that is. Got 2 windows and both vents done. Went through 6-7 razor blades and took me an hour.

Put my cattle racks on and changed the oil and got the license plate lamps working. Took out the saggy assed headliner. Put gun rack in. Got the tailgate lights working wire and ground ripped out when someone took the tailgate off I’m sure. Anyone have a black steering wheel for my sons 82 tired of the gay fat short man special And a radio chrome volume knob for 85?
