I'm 34 and can feel a little difference in my body the morning after. (more like I actually feel sore the morning after, sometimes, as opposed to never when I was a little younger). My wife helped my pull that LS motor, next time I'm gonna use my tractor in granny low and pull slowly instead of heaving a cherry picker with an engine and trans on it lol. Sketch city! Unfortunately I've never had my own concrete and walls to work on. Its either the backyard behind my basement or the street in front of my house, but we make it work!
Yep
I’ve done a gas automatic to diesel five speed transplant ina 4runner and a LS transplant in my driveway

Asphalt driveway so I gotta lay down plywood so the cherry picker will roll and not sink down in the asphalt

Also spent 11 hours yesterday installing four new springs

Wow what a difference!

The Alcan springs ride so much nicer than whatever springs were in there

Changed the oil today - wanted to try semi syn 10W40 plus a quart of MMO.

Results from last Sunday's "upper body workout" - Mequires plus a coat of Turtle Wax and some light rain today.

Not exactly working directly on the squares, but spent the day dismounting tires (without a tire machine ) so I could take advantage of the free tire disposal the city offered this week. Got 15 tires hauled off yesterday, and hope to get a couple more done today. They had a helluva pile, and it sounds like they had already hauled off several semi loads.

Added some tie downs to my bed today, and ran my wiring harness in preparation for my fog light install. Still working out a way to mount them without drilling my bumper. Put my rear window gun rack in too. A must have in a square 4x4 lol

After removing, stripping, sanding and repainting the valleys again this is what I decided on... I think!
I like the chrome trim on the air cleaner better also.
Now have to do the drivers side.

Used it to take the camper to Talladega this weekend

$1100 for the camper
Sure beats sleeping in a tent
And it’s Gonna be luxury accommodations at the deer camp this year

I said goodbye to the 80 today, it's my first project I've gotten off a trailer and sent on driving down the road, it was a bittersweet moment, it went to a fellow squarebody enthusiast who plans to fix the rust and give it some paint, while it also opens me up to focus on my chevelle and 85 silverado, and fund them as well, I'd give up both my trucks for the chevelle, but it was an easy choice between the two, the 85 was my truck in highschool, and I hope it to one day be my kids truck in highschool as well, but the chevelle will be off limits, the 80 was a chance buy and I made money off of it, there wasnt any sentimental value to it, hopefully he enjoys it once its done

I have a punch list to knock out before winter sets in on my 84 K10. I replaced exhaust manifold gaskets and changed out the heater core and yea, it has AC. I'm pretty sure I invented some new combinations of cuss words. Got it done though. Next weekend I plan to replace dimmer switch, signal switch and wiper/washer switches. My C10 also needs a dimmer switch and inspection is coming up. Damn.
