I've walked past it everyday for the last several months on the way to get in my Dodge. Ignition switch broke so now I can't start it without a pair of pliers. That was on top of the wiper switch going out and other column woes. I was so disgusted at it that I just let it sit. Finally got all the parts and I'm gonna tackle rebuilding the column this next week on my vacation.

And the Sierra is still at my bother's house an hour away. It's been sitting there so long that he has junk piled around it. :bawl:

Sometimes I feel like I can't win for losing with these old trucks, but then I just walk away for a while and focus on house projects. Someday I'll run out of things to fix. Ha!

I don't know why, my cell phone pics show up sideways. Just hung upside down from the ceiling, that's looking great though.

I was going to put mine to work today but apparently the alt belt broke when my son fired it up this morning. Plan B did not involve my square. :(

- EGR block off plate installed as well as a 1" phenolic spacer onto my manifold.

- Cleaned up the surface on the block on the driver side. Learned that there has been some crazy detonation as piston #7 is a bit umm melted? Pictures will follow in a bit.

Replaced the bearings, bushes, and regulator in the cs144. Bought it from the junkyard a while back for 25 bucks and it's been great. After my zx750 and fog light install put a beating on it the bearings started squealing :)
