My power steering pump has been leaking like a sieve so I'm going to try to rebuild it. This will be a first for me. Fingers crossed.
Great thanksgiving day project! A splash of power steering fluid adds flavor to turkey gravy I heard! Lol.
Seriously I’ve never rebuilt a steering pump so interested in the outcome. Specially since my 86 works great and doesn’t leak. If it does leak I’d rather re seal a good pump than buy a case of remans so I can find a good one!

Nice!!

Hey, if that's a parts truck, you wouldnt be willing to part with those headlight bezels, would you? Dont think they'll fit the your Jimmy.
Shipping would probably cost more than new ones. They’re cheap and dime a dozen.

Just got a call from the kids. They say I'll be there for Thanksgiving to be around the family, or else. Guess I'll to do the rebuild tomorrow. I'll try to post some pics while I do it, if I remember to take some. lol

Should be able to get them in a large flat rate box, only 18$. Cheapest ones I've found new are 20$ each, not including shipping. I'd say that's a bit cheaper.

While the bird was burnin yesterday i took the time to get my other set of snow tires for the s10 out and prep them. Had to grind the centers open a lil bit to fit. Tried to put a 31x10.5x15 on the front! No luck. So i pulled down the 1991 factory 14" spare and swapped it out with the matching size 15. Then i swapped out that annoying squeaky idler pulley finally. Then i cleaned it out a lil and reorganized my tools. Then i decided to finally pick up my 75 grease fittings that dumped on my floor over a month ago lol
