I feel like thats a lot of squat for a half ton. I even had 1000 pounds of sand bags in my 96 f150 at the end of hte bed and it only evened out the truck.

I’d say that’s about normal for a motor and trans full of fluids to be back by the gate. It already sits a tad lower in the rear. Plus the shadow makes it look worse. It was jussstt tucking the top of the tire.

Makes sense. My F150 has a floating rear end when not loaded, versus yours is level. Maybe because mine is 2wd? Maybe mine has heavy duty springs?

Finished painting the underside of hood. Decided to go with the Shadow Gray instead of flat Black so it would perhaps help make it a bit brighter. Which it will, I like it better already! Oh yeah, and emptied a few more Budweiser bottles. Got to do my share to help keep their stocks up! LOL:cheers:

Brother, I have been doing my part during this cross state move! Busch light is my elixir, no worries about Anheuser Busch going broke during the lockdown

Since I put the new carb and intake on the truck runs a lot quieter, both under the hood and the exhaust. I've been hearing a racket under the hood since then and the other day I was checking the vacuum so I can change my power valve and found the water pump shaft bearing to be wasted. The fan moved a good 1/2". I ordered a new water pump and radiator since that has been leaking also and it came just in time! I had trouble getting to work this morning the engine was vibrating so bad.
