Havent even cracked the cover open yet... ugh. Got a line on a 10 bolt 6 lug factory 3.42 posi for $250 im thinkin im just gunna buy and slam it in and get it cruisin.
That’s easily the cheaper bet.
Especially seeing as how you’ll probably have to buy a press, dial indicator, bearing kit, oil bla bla bla. this was my dads axle. I have swapped out enough parts. Need to keep something “ original”

Not a darn thing since it got parked a few months back. But it will be hauling some lumber soon. Not much because it's a small project, but dang it, it'll be hauling lumber

Been messing with the console off and on lately. Finely got around to mounting the shifter and cutting & bending the metal top. Finished the bracing under the metal this evening. Going out of town tomorrow so hopefully I can locate some flat headed bolts to stud the top for mounting. Trying to keep from exposed screws thru the top. The covered stuff is just sitting on there for the time being. The top opens, but thinking about make the arm rest and the piece above it one one piece, have the middle go behind the rest instead of on top of it, or just leave it as is. Any thoughts on this?

Probably just me. Harassing people who have done it. If my rear end didn’t die, I’d have gotten it this month.

Maybe you could refrain from going 40 in reverse and dropping it in drive to try to chirp the tires with the next one?

Weather looks like ****, so what did we learn inside there?

Your bumper sticker on the right reminds me of that old shirt which read, 'If you can read this the bitch fell off.'

It was miserable! Rained all day, i was soaked through winter coveralls and insulated pants to my underwear. I was workin in a huge puddle. I learned nothing, couldnt find the culprit. I used to have a sticker that said "i miss my ex but my aim is improving" lol
