There was another one there .guy wanted 575 would not budge on price. Got mine for 350,he didnt know what he had and i didnt tell him

$575 is not even high for that trans, I had one in my 1982 parts truck with a 6.2 diesel, Just for that year and combo with the 6.2 they only built 200 of them and within in last 8 years I've only seen like 3-4 of them.
I sold my trans for $890.

There's several members here with that trans, whether in a truck or out of a truck. I wouldn't call them rare, just uncommon.

I used to think they were rare, but since then, so many have popped up in reading here. I even have one now, lol.
Well there only "Rare" In the 1982 Truck applications with 6.2s. They are BY FAR The "HOLY GRAILs" Unless you can find a Western Hauler 3+3 With a 6.2 and A833-OD. Which is near impossible. A guy was Teasing one on the 6.2 group on FB and apparently sold it to some guy who offered him $14,000 for it. Go Figure.
