updated grill, possible modding to come!

Well I picked up a used gmc grill to change the look of my truck a wee bit. I'm most likely going to mod this grill with my own inserts like I did with an 03 ram I had a few years back! First pic before, second pic grey, third pic is my homemade inserts in the ram I had. Last pic is freshly finished blacked out grill! Next I have to make the inserts!

Well, there's just something about black that stands out, if I ever get mine done I like red so I was thinking it would look pretty good with everything black, grill, bumpers, mirrors, door handles, no chrome ****, at least I visualize it looking good anyhow, lol..

Bad news is I used the wrong pressure plate for the internal hydraulic throw out bearing so the clutch never engages. The trans has to come back out.....

Finished wrapping my panels of my audio install

fixed the tank selector switch only to find out the ps fuel pump was bad. Bought a new pump and while cleaning tank exterior before install noticed a line in the sending unit was loose. Bought and installed new sending unit so now i have a functional second tank , just in time too as now the fuel filler hose on the ds tank leaks while trying to fill up.

Well found out that I need to use the correct clutch and pressure plate for my trans. Which means I get to change the flywheel and brand new starter too. So I guess I'll just pull the motor again. Glad I beat myself to death in the evenings this past week just to do it all over again....
