Eventually going to get all new panels but I couldn't stand all that red, especially since it looked like a 3 year old painted it with a brush

I'm wanting to go with something like these!? Are the smittybilt seats hard to make work with our trucks? Mine is a 79 and I hate my 88/98 red split bench!

I just bought a set of their lowback buckets to put in my 84. They look to be put together pretty good. I'm going to have to do some custom fab to install them though. The ones I bought are for a CJ5.

Connected the vac advance to manifold on ol' butterscotch. Adjusted the idle and just talked with dad about what we are going to build out the two squares we have. Needed to do somthing after being kicked in the balls on the suburban so many times. It was nice to drive a square and let my cares melt away for a little while at least.....

Replaced top headlights, a turn signal bulb and wiper blades. Gonna get the u-joints replaced in a week or two.

My dad and I attempted to start up the '73 the other... and well it was not going, couldn't figure out why.
Turned out the muffler was packed with crap from a mouse that made a home in the tailpipe. Well with that taken care of we got her to start and run only to discover either a piston or a connecting rod is broken .
I guess on the bright side i got a reasonable excuse to tear down the big block now...

In the last couple of months I've replaced the brake lines, calipers, pads, master cylinder, water pump and tires. I have her at the shop getting inspected. Next up is replacing the passenger side rocker panel and getting some carpet in. Can't wait to drive her. It's been almost 10 years since I've owned a square!

Finally finished (mostly) my Dakota Digital gauge install. Now if only the rest of my truck was as nice as the gauges!

Back from paint...and finally replaced all the rubber weatherstripping on both doors and the cab.

I installed my white gauge faces .
