I bought from ebay two carb adapter plates. The one for adapting old small carter throttle plates to Holley carbs.
On the adapter will sit blue billet Holley 750 style throttle plates. On top of those will reside two 425 Impcos.
Under the adapter is a shiny Edelbrock C-66 dual carb intake.
Below the intake is a '81 block 496 and older 781 heads.
Still trying to decide my cam specs.
I've been buying parts the last year, basically including the two trucks needed to build one. I have LOTS of stuff, but trying to sell my house to buy a farm with a shop. I got no room at home for this game. Driving me nutz...

Got the '77 out and gave my boys a ride. It was a good time. Need to do it again later in the week. It'd been a while since we'd taken it out because we'd been so busy :/

Bulletproof as it gets. Don't forget to replace the clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing along with the pilot bushing.:)

Doing the water pump right now. Waiting for my new brake lines to come in. Then I can put in the new calipers and brake pads. Got 2 of my tires mounted and waiting for the other 2 to come in. Next is wiring up the new gauges. Should have her on the road Thursday. Glad I have this week off. Just wish it wasn't so damn hot!!

Well, let's see...Basic maintenance included spark plugs and wires, brake pads and rotors, and an oil change.

Improvements on the old '73 C20 included putting fuel injection on the 454, an MSD 6A ignition, electric fuel pumps, had the bed and the back of the cab sand blasted, and now the paint prep begins. Got to get the south of the border paint work off.

I have to say it's nice having a rust free truck in New Mexico

Over 5" using stock springs with a shackle flip and I don't even have shocks installed yet.
