Drove mine some and then put fuel stabilizer in it because it is the time of year when it sits most of the time.

About a finger's width between tires. Should work for me, I don't tend to push the weight on the bed.

Can I ask why your running 2 mirrors on each side? I don't have those dumbo mirrors, do they leave a big blind spot?

Heh heh. Thats called me being lazy. My Dad busted my balls on that too. I had a hard time seeing over/around the duallies with the smaller mirrors that the PO put on. I found a set of tripods and bolted them on (the original bolts were still there). Now I just dont want remove the old smaller mirrors and have to deal with the holes in the door.

So yea. I'm lazy lol:shrug:

Its actually not bad. I have not noticed any issues at all, and I can be particular about that kind of thing. I guess the mirrors are low enough I can basically see over them.

Lol I think you should mount a pair of little round mirrors above the windows, just so you have all your angles covered.

Used it to make $30 dropping off scrap. As I was pulling around the cul-de-sac to head out, one of my neighbors had set a heavy ass rusty old filing cabinet out for recycling pickup. I saved the crew the effort and loaded it in with all my scrap, lol.

I would find a nice looking bolt, remove the dumbo mirrors, put a dab of RTV on the bolt and place them into the holes in the door.

Not a bad idea. I might get around to it at some point. Bigger priorities first... Like a new Gadsden license plate for the front!
