And also added a little bump. Built a box, covered it in my parts burb headliner, two 12s and an amp. Hooked it on a toggle switch so I can turn it off and listen to my old man talk radio.

Good stuff guys. I bit the bullet on some $9 a piece LED's for my dash that should be here to install this weekend. I can only afford a few at a time so I am just going to pick away at it. I got 2 red 194's for the dash and 2 orange 194's for the front facing marker lamps. I got these ones:

I so wanna get some of these, definitely on the to do list. I think I'm gonna go with the red in dash too. I'd love to see some pics when you get them in.

That's a slick job.. I would like to do something similar.. Only to hold a couple rifles and spare ammo.. I hate my deer and bird guns bouncing around..

I bought a new 20 gallon gas tank, new tank frame brackets, straps and hardware. I had the new tank and brackets media blasted then had them powder coated by a friend. I used a pre paint cleaner on the tank straps and then shot them with a gloss clear, it all looks amazing...:)

change to a chrome grill and chrome accent headlight bezel I think it makes the truck look modern. Also replaced side view mirrors with new stainless . all I need now is 6 new tires for my rims.

Thanks, I built the box and kept procrastinating about going to the fabric store for some material to cover it when I remembered the parts suburban has a huge amount of material the same color as my interior on the headliner. That old suburban just keeps on giving. I've stripped about everything you could think of off of it and have almost hauled it to the scrap heap a couple of times but I keep on finding **** I need to pull off of it.
