Thankfully mine has the aftermarket that was made for the hole so my bezel and dash is intact, when i upgrade to more modern with the aux cable i'll order one of the new repops set up for that.

But today yanked the cluster in search of my mysterious zero oil pressure problem, the tan wire from the sender to the plug is good, the gauge is good, the sender is good, that would leave the lower unit that could be causing a problem?

But hey i can pull the bezel and dash pad in 5 minutes and reinstall just as fast

Went for a motorcycle ride this morning and after that started on the Vintage Air install. Got the holes drilled in the firewall and some patches made.

Today I bedlined my rockers and the lower front wheel well on the burb. All of that area is getting cut out for the repaint next fall but for the rest of the year I don't have to look at the rust bubbles and the flaking paint.

Finally gave ol chrome steel and sex appeal a bath since December

Fixed the radiator core support for my 73 GMC C25....the lower passenger side was rotten. I cut out "patch panels" from a repro core support and fit them in my original. Smooth the welds a little filler and its ready for epoxy primer!

Got my underhood reel light working. For some reason it won't work with the LED bulb I got for it I actually got 2 and it won't work with either LED bulb

Jacob since you say that now I am thinking the polarity is reverse of what I originally thought. It must be hot at the bulb all times and the switch grounds it to turn the light on. I bet if you reverse the polarity that LED light will work. Try it on your test subject.

Rebuilt the tilt column, Got the horn working and removed all the cruse control items from under the dash.

Absolutely nothing sadly.. She's just sitting there waiting for me to have time to do the motor swap and clean it! And make sure everything else is good to go!

It gets to earn its keep next weekend though. Time to get the boat out of winter storage. A 20 mile run empty and then 20 miles back with the boat.
