my wiper switch has a loose connection so that when it is less than about 50deg, the washer doesn't work. as soon as the switch gets warm from running the heater for a while, the washer works.
as a work around, and to prevent tearing into the column for a relatively minor inconvenience, I added a momentary switch between the pink and black wires in the harness upstream of the delay module. this grounds the washer same as if the switch was working. the beauty of tapping upstream of the module is that the wipers sweep just like if the switch was used also.
I put the switch on the backside of the column behind the multifunction switch. so it is hidden from view, to at least make it a little less janky
