Havent got it back in yet, nor have I fired up the motor for the first time yet...getting there though!

Just don't forget to stab a screwdriver down the dizzy hole and pre prime the oil and get some thru the bearings before stabbing the dizzy. I think someone got off with but I at one time had a cut off long screwdriver that worked well in a cordless drill and I'd spin it until oil came out of the oil pressure gauge port.

change my oil cooler lines today what a messy job , don't matter how hard you try oil gets every where. I removed the diverter adapter and placed new gaskets cut the hydraulic hoses off and kept the aluminum lines and ran new hoses, here are all the pics.

Keep a close eye on those lines for leaks. I think bad oil cooler hoses are what killed the engine in my truck before I bought it. One of the rod journals on the crank was so probably worn down 80 or 90 thousandths, I'm guessing it was because of low oil pressure. The entire underside of the truck was coated in a couple inch layer of oily dirt.

You need to get with Retro and get you one of those overhead consoles like out of a Burb. 89S has a couple, and Shawn has spoken for one of them. I'm going to have one in blue. I don't care for the sliding doors much, but I figured it's a good place to stash a small semi auto pistol and a couple loaded mags in the other. And the lighting is pretty cool.
