Welded up Swiss cheese (30 drill holes) box, this morning. First, had to wasp killer spray a nest inside the stake hole.

Gotta be honest, I like the lumber rack on. Gives it a different look. Looks good without it also.

agree. Like it both ways. Looks naked without it. Makes me think of one that runs up to the back end of a sun visor, maybe with drop down tarps?

I like the utility of the rack and didn’t mind the look, but never saw the truck without it. it was already on the truck when I bought it back in November

Only 30? You got a good one! Lol.
While it’s easy work, I think the previous owners of our truck NEVER passed up an opportunity to bolt any accessory they came across onto that truck. And some things twice!

Kid got a free99 set of ORD sway bar disconnects. Slapped them on yesterday while the wheels were off. Functionally they do nothing, but interested to see how it drives w no sway bar. Was in a hurry and hauling a load later so postponed that experiment.

Then off to get a load of beauty bark. I think the fat ******* who loaded the truck, his wife must’ve run off and left him for someone with a nice squarebody….I’ll spare all the details but that mfer loaded it with a 966 loader because he was too fckin lazy to get into the smaller one. And proceeded to dump it over one side, other side not even half full and on the roof and filled halfway up the back window…..
Was all I could to to not go bean that ignorant mfer with a ball bat!
Mostly because not only did it fill the cab with dust thru the old slider seals but it filled up on top of and in the gas tank shields!
I’m still pretty smoked about it! Lol

I definitely would’ve given him a piece of my mind. Even if I were in a newer truck, let alone that one!
Yeah that ignorant mfer deserved it….
It’s ok, a family friend of Jeffries’s owns the place and he’s buddies with their youngest son, who also works there. Sent him pics of it (this kid LOVES jeffys truck almost as much as jeffy does), so it will definitely get back to a hood guy that he is fcking up the family business the way he treats customers.
